You’ll then head off to Hurghada, where you’ll enjoy a few days of relaxation and comfort in a luxury hotel on the shores of the Red Sea. You can enjoy the seaside atmosphere of this paradise, slip your feet into the warm sand and watch a belly dance performance.

Then you’ll fly to Morocco, where you’ll make an extraordinary loop from Casablanca to Marrakech, passing through Meknes, Fez and the Sahara desert to Merzouga and Ouarzazate, then on to Essaouira!

This is your chance to discover all the jewels of Morocco, and to appreciate its impressive, delicately detailed architecture and rich cultural heritage, with its French, Andalusian, Moorish and Arab-Muslim influences, recent and past. You’ll be overwhelmed by the sight of Moroccan ksour, medinas and mosques.

You’ll then enjoy an escape into the heart of Moroccan nature, admiring sun-drenched valleys where centuries-old olive and orange trees grow to produce the country’s finest fruit, and enjoying views of the Atlas peaks dominated by magnificent oak and cedar forests. Best of all, you’ll have the unique opportunity to experience the desert on camelback in Bedouin country, spend the night in a bivouac, and then relax on the Atlantic side during a seaside holiday.

In short, you’ll experience a tour full of color and rich in wonder, and return to the country with your senses overwhelmed by so much delight!

Departure for a day of discovering the famous monuments of the capital region:

  • Pyramids of Giza: a vast funerary complex housing the tombs of the pharaohs and comprising three great pyramids. The Pyramid of Khufu, the only one of the Seven Wonders of the World to have survived to the present day, is among these imposing remnants of ancient Egypt. It appears that the pyramids were built approximately 4,500 years ago and that their construction was facilitated by the existence of a branch of the Nile River—now dried up—which would have allowed for the transport of stones from nearby quarries. However, the engineering challenges involved in their construction still leave many unanswered questions in the scientific community today.
  • The Sphinx, a monument carved from a single block of limestone, stands before the three famous pyramids. It is the largest monolithic sculpture in the world.
  • The Mosque of Muhammad Ali : an important Islamic sanctuary in Cairo, erected in the heart of the citadel in the 19th -century Ottoman architectural style for Viceroy Muhammad Ali Pasha, considered the father of modern Egypt. He is credited with ushering Egypt into the industrial age, making the country one of the world’s leading cotton producers. He initiated the first railway construction projects and the digging of canals for transporting export goods. Egypt owes him significant social reforms, including the country’s first military, medical, and pharmaceutical schools.
