Our school trips are designed for schools that wish to offer their students the opportunity to visit a foreign country to discover its culture in all its forms, as well as the variety of its natural landscapes.
All of our trips have an educational focus and are designed to expose students to different realities and ways of life. They combine visits to the destination’s distinctive natural environments (deserts, oases, tropical forests, volcanoes, etc.) with cultural visits that provide valuable insights into the country’s major historical events (historic neighborhoods, public and religious buildings, etc.).
We will focus on exploring the local flora and fauna and visiting natural habitats, where we will raise students’ awareness of the challenges of agriculture in different climatic contexts. At other destinations, the focus will be on key moments in the country’s geopolitical history, with the tours highlighting their impact on local communities.
In short, our school trips offer students unique opportunities to immerse themselves in a foreign culture and gain an understanding of the challenges faced by the communities they encounter, and may also provide opportunities for students to get involved in community or humanitarian work through a local project.
And all this takes place in the relaxed atmosphere and fun setting of a group trip, fostering openness and learning—both on a personal and intellectual level!
At the request of school group organizers, the tours can be tailored to serve as a well-chosen supplement to the objectives of a language, ecology, world history, or other course, and can also be modified, as needed, to suit college or university students.
In short, Voyages Miaterra’s educational programs ensure that all participants will benefit from a well-rounded experience!
