Departure for Cap Bon, Tunisia’s most easterly point. Drive along the Mediterranean coast through picturesque villages.

• Visit the Hammamet medina.
• Stop in the center of Nabeulwhere there is a high concentration of ceramics workshops of all kinds. Visit a pottery workshop.
• Discover the fishing port and Byzantine fortress of Kelibia.
• Visit to the archaeological site of Kerkouanethe country’s only well-preserved Punic city.
• Photo stop at the ancient caves ofEl Haouaria.
• Continuation to Korbous to see the hot springs that flow into the sea.

Return to Hammamet seaside hotel.

Departure for a day of discovery:

• Discovering Tunis and its medinalisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its rich heritage of architectural and artistic influences. Stroll through the souks to meet its merchants.
• Visit the Roman site of ancient Carthage (port, public baths, etc.)
• Continuation to Sidi Bou Saïdone of the most charming villages on the Mediterranean coast, with a collection of pretty white and blue houses. Free time to stroll through the narrow streets.

Drive to Bizerte.

• Visit the city of Bizerte. Discover its old fishing port, fish market and medina.
• Continue along the coast along the Coral Route and stop at Sejnane to see typical pottery made by local women.
• Continuation to Tabarkaa tourist resort in north-western Tunisia. Discover its marina and famous “aiguilles” (rock formations).

Escape to sublime mountain landscapes through the Kroumirie massif and its cork oak forests.

• Photo stop in the pretty village ofAin Draham.
• Visit to the imposing hydroelectric dam at Beni Metira village situated at an altitude of 650 metres in the heart of a sparsely populated region of the country.
• Continuation to Douggathe best-preserved Roman city in North Africa. Imposing remains listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. (Amphitheatre, thermal baths, forum, etc.).
• Continuation to Sousselocated by the sea.

Departure for a day of discovery:

• Visit the Aghlabite basinsimportant hydraulic works used to supply the city with water as early as the ^9th century.
• Visit the Great Mosquethe city’s emblematic building, the oldest and most prestigious Muslim place of worship in the West.
• Visit the mausoleum of the Barber which houses the tomb of a fervent companion of the Prophet of Islam who died in battle in the ^7th century.
• Visit the artisanal carpet centera venue showcasing an art form that has been firmly rooted in Kairouan for centuries. Kairouan carpets feature geometric shapes typical of Islamic art, as well as floral motifs from traditional Tunisian folk art. The center is located in the medina of Kairouan, the oldest city in the Maghreb, converted to Islam by the Arabs in the ^7th century. It is home to a large number of religious buildings (mausoleums, mosques, schools, etc.).

Drive across high steppes towards Tozeur.

Departure for a day of discovery:

• Tour of the city of TozeurTozeur, a magnificent oasis located between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert. Discover its typical market and its old quarters.
• Visit Eden Palm Parkan open-air museum set in a palm grove, where you can learn all there is to know about this fruit and its by-products. On-site tasting of date products.
• In the afternoon, excursion by Jeep 4X4 to the Atlas Mountains. Visit the Berber villages of Chebika and Tamerzaboth set against a backdrop of ochre-coloured sand and orange-coloured mountains from which flow important springs. Excursion to the magnificent waterfalls of Tamerza.
• Continuation of the tour through the Tunisian desert to one of the one of the filming locations for “Star Wars”. to capture a sunset over the sand dunes.

Departure for a day of discovery:

• Crossing the great salt lake Chott El Jérid with a photo stop to immortalize this beautiful and somewhat surreal landscape. This is a plain stretching almost 100 km from east to west, flooded seasonally with saline water that limits vegetation.
• Arrival in Douza town in southern Tunisia at the foot of the great dunes, earning it the title of “Gateway to the Desert”. Dromedary trekking in an extraordinary natural setting.
• Jeep 4X4 excursion through the famous Erg of the Tunisian Sahara to see these endless stretches of sand.
• Journey to Ksar Ghilane for an night in a tent. The promise of a taste of the freedom of the desert people, the immensity of the sky and the tranquility of this setting of dunes and sand plains stretching to infinity.

Berber day in the Tataouine region:

• Excursion through the Tunisian desert. Passing through villages clinging to high mountains.
• Discovery of the former attic of Chenini with a guide. Visit to troglodytic houses dug horizontally, floor by floor, into the mountainside, with a well as the main feature of the house’s central courtyard. These houses were designed to let in just the right amount of light, while remaining cool and comfortable in all seasons.
• Dinnertypical Berber menu.
• Continuation of the excursion in the Tunisian Sahara through breathtaking scenery.

• Visit the El Jem Colosseum and its museum. This is the country’s best-preserved Roman amphitheatre, an entertainment venue built in the^3rd century for gladiatorial combat, chariot races and circus games. The stadium, built entirely of ashlar, bears witness to the extraordinary genius of Roman engineers. At the time, it could accommodate up to 35,000 spectators.
